Cardiac Science Powerheart AED G3 Plus

Simplicity: The semi-automatic Powerheart AED G3 Plus stays true to form, using Cardiac Science's legendary one-button operation. This makes it one of the most uncomplicated AEDs to use in a rescue. The fully automatic model has no buttons to push: it delivers treatment automatically as needed once the electrode pads are in place on the patient. Optional pediatric electrode pads make it perfect for settings where children gather.

RescueCoach: The Cardiac Science Powerheart AED G3 Plus takes its industry-leading AED and battery warranty and combines it with clear, on-screen text and voice prompts to guide the user through the rescue process. The G3 Plus also has a metronome feature to help with pacing compressions during CPR. The text screen also provides critical information to emergency medical professionals upon arrival.

Non-polarized pads: The G3 Plus uses two identical, non-polarized electrode pads, which can be placed at either location on the victim’s chest. This means one less step to consider during a rescue.

 

Event documentation: The Powerheart G3 Plus has an internal memory that stores up to 60 minutes of ECG data with event annotations. Rescue event data is timestamped. This data can be downloaded using the RescueLink software for Windows via USB or serial port.

 

RESCUE READY technology: Performs a daily check of the primary AED components, including battery, hardware, software, and electrode pads. Weekly, the G3 Plus completes a partial charge of the high-voltage electronics. It completes a full charge monthly.

STAR Biphasic Waveform Technology: Cardiac Science’s proprietary Self-Tracking Active Response (STAR) technology provides the right amount of defibrillation energy based on its analysis. If additional shocks are needed, the AED increases the energy used using Variable Escalating Energy Technology.

RHYTHMx: Examines the patient’s heartbeat and determines whether a shockable or non-shockable rhythm is present.
